How our REPAIR Service works

Send in your module to us to be repaired and sent back!

How it Works (Simple): You place a repair order on our website, send us your module, then we repair it, and send it back to you

How it Works (Detailed):

STEP 1

  • Find your module repair listing using our drop down menu or the search bar
    • Compare your module to the listing picture, part number, and list of its commonly  commonly known issues
      • If you do not find the listing for your module, or you are experiencing different issues, you can contact us via e-mail instead
        • We do not repair airbags, radios/stereos, & valve/throttle bodies
        • Our website does not process international orders

STEP 2

  • Purchase the repair service
    • The shipping you purchase is for the Return Shipping back to you after repairs; you must still handle shipping to send you module to us.
    • You will receive an email shortly after confirming your order,  with shipping instructions & a link to a Repair Request Form that you will fill out, print, and include with your module
      • If you cannot print the form, you can write out the information we on a piece of paper instead
        • If you cannot open the link, the information we need is your personal contact information, address, and the module information (year/make/model & trouble codes)

STEP 3

  • Send your module to our address
  • MODULE REPAIR PRO   5911 LEMONA AVE, VAN NUYS, CA, 91411
    • Be sure to include the paperwork and to pack the module well so it does not get damaged during shipping.
    • You can send it by whatever carrier service you choose, but we recommend services that include tracking & insurance in case of damage or loss
  • You will receive an email from us when your module has arrived to our facility

STEP 4

  • We will repair the module and send it back to you
    • Average repair time is 2 business days, although complications can extend this time
  • Repaired modules will be Plug-and-Play, no reprogramming required, but some modules might come with special instructions included regarding installation, or they will need the history trouble codes cleared (ABS & TCMs)
  • Keep the included paperwork in case the module needs to be sent back under warranty. *Most of our repair modules have a **Limited Lifetime Warranty
      • *Please check the “Warranty” section on the listing for your module to be sure, as some repair services have a 6 month warranty
      • **Warranty covers our repairs only, for the specific issues/codes it was brought in & repaired for.
        • Different issues/codes later on might not be covered, and might be a new repair service.
        • Does not cover physical damage to the module from accidents, fire, water, or electrical shorts
          • It is the customers’ responsibility to eliminate any possible shorts before reinstalling their module
        • For as long as you own the vehicle (non-transferable).
    • If you suspect you have an issue with the module and have followed any applicable instructions, then you are welcome to either contact our technical support line for more assistance, or send us an email requesting RMA instructions.
      • Tech Line (Gino): 818-235-1095 Ext 3
