You will receive a fuel injection control module (FICM) that has been completely rebuilt and tested. We also offer FICMs with optional +58v upgrade. Details are posted below in the product description.

What are the advantages of the 58v vs. the 48v FICM?

Better starting. Since 99% of 6.0L injector problems are associated with the spool valve, the higher voltage of the 58v FICM can minimize intermittent injector firings (misfires), by creating a stronger magnetic PULL on the spool valve. The 58v FICM also moves the spool more quickly (mechanically), which slightly advances the mechanical injection timing…which is beneficial to both performance and fuel economy. The higher output voltage of our 58v FICM forces the fuel injector to open more quickly, which allows the fuel injector to flow slightly more fuel than the lower/stock voltage unit. The quicker action of the fuel injector also slightly advances the injection timing. The results with the 58v FICM is that the truck will pick up an additional 40 WHP, even with the standard Ford programming.

It is your mechanic's responsibility to pinpoint the problem to the FICM.  

This module comes with a 1 year warranty. Core return is required. Please read full warranty terms and conditions.

Core must be returned within 30 days of receiving our module. Your core must be complete, no missing parts. The part number or vehicle fitment of your core must match the module you purchased. We will not accept cores with water, fire, or physical damage. If you or someone else previously attempted to repair the module, we will not accept it as a core. Please wait until you receive our module and confirm that it is working properly in your vehicle before returning your core. We will include return instructions and return address info in the package. Buyer is responsible for return postage.
