Driving with a malfunctioning ECM for a long time might lead to internal failure of transmission. It is your mechanic's responsibility to pinpoint the problem to the ECU. If you or someone else tried to repair your engine computer, we can evaluate and possibly repair it, but only in the case that no additional damage was created.
