00-02 INFINITI G20 ECU REPAIR
These computers often fail due to a faulty Idle Control Valve (IAC) or in some cases, a broken Motor Mount (electric hydraulic motor mount kills the wiring harness that connects to it). If your Idle Control Valve failed, and diagnostic scanning is showing trouble code 0505, your ECU is damaged.
Known problems addressed by our repair service:
- No Start, hard start, engine stalls
- Rough idle, high Idle, or idle up and down
- No communication with computer
- Check engine trouble codes for idle control valve (IACV)
- Replacing IAC does not fix the problem
Compatible Part Numbers Include:
- XE MEC22-611
- 11 MEC22-612
- 11 MEC22-613
- LN MEC12-070
- 67 MEC22-610
It is your mechanic's responsibility to pinpoint the problem to the ECU. If you or someone else tried to repair your engine computer, we can evaluate and possibly repair it, but only in the case that no additional damage was created. Please note, not all modules are repairable.
Repairs done to your module are covered by our lifetime warranty. Please read full warranty terms and conditions.
You will have to eliminate every possible electrical short on the vehicle before resinstalling the ECU or the computer will be damaged again. Replace your idle control valve (IACV-AAC) and throttle position sensor. Closely check the wiring harness and connector to the IACV valve. If your computer is damaged again as a result of failing to follow these instructions, warranty will be voided.
After our repairs have been made, your module will be ready to install back on your vehicle, no coding or programming required.
