Yes, we are open to locals to drop off their modules in person for repair, or pick up for exchanges
How long does the Repair take?
Most modules take an average of 1-2 business days to repair, but some modules require longer working times, and complications can also extend this time-frame
How long would it take to get my module?
We ship same or next business day for exchanges but shipping times will depend on your location and the shipping services you choose during checkout
We do not test modules before repairs, and it is the customer/mechanics responsibility to properly diagnose and pinpoint the issue to the module. Most modules we are able to test after repairs either by bench testing or test driving
When you are repairing the modules, do you go throughout the whole module or only fix what issues you see?
This depends on the module and its associated repair procedure.
Some of our modules have repair procedures that involve inspecting and repairing obvious issues, such as broken wiring and failed components. If our technicians do not find any problems, then we will contact you to let you know that no problem has been found, refund what was paid for the repairs, and only charge for return shipping.
Other modules have standard repair procedures; this can involve reworking the whole board (or only the known trouble areas), and replacing certain components depending on the trouble codes presented.
There often could be more than one module on the vehicle that will give the same symptoms/codes, so it it is important that the issue was properly diagnosed to be the module, otherwise our repair procedure will not be addressing the real issue and it will not solve your problem. If the other possibilities are more costly to fix, or if you/your mechanic are still unsure, it might still be worth getting the repair service and taking the gamble; the best case scenario is that it does solve everything, and the worst case is that you have eliminated one more possibility
What if my module is unrepairable?
If your module has been deemed unrepairable, then we refund the repair order and only charge for return shipping. If we have replacement modules in stock, we might offer to keep your module as a core and send you another replacement, and invoice for the price difference
If the repair service doesn't work, do I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds for repair services rendered, but we do warranty the work we do; if you suspect there is still an issue with your module after repairs are done and any applicable instructions were followed, then please contact us via e-mail or call our technical support line for further assistance.
Following that, you may be asked to send the module back to us for inspection, testing, and repairs if necessary. You will be e-mailed a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form to fill out and include with your module
What if my refurbished exchange module doesn't work?
If you suspect the module you receive does not work after performing any applicable instructions, please contact us via e-mail or call our technical line to receive additional support. You may be asked to send the module back to us for inspection, testing, and repairs if necessary.
If you would like to send your module back to us, you will be e-mailed a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form to fill out and include with your module
If we have another module in stock, we may be able to ship you another one out under a security deposit which will be refunded once we receive one of our modules back
Can I return my module for a refund?
If you purchased a refurbished module from our exchange service and would like to return it, we do accept returns minus a twenty percent restocking fee
Do you buy cores?
We do buy certain cores, especially if you see them on our website listings. Please e-mail us with your inventory
